(f) Home Vault Documents

• The homes you add to My Properties
• Documents you upload or forward to your Home Vault, such as insurance policies, council rates notices, strata documents, contracts, invoices, warranties and loan documents
• For documents you forward by email: the sending address, the subject line and the attachments
• Key facts we read from your documents, such as your insurer, policy type, renewal dates and amounts

If Marketli is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

(a) Where your documents are stored

Your documents and the facts we read from them are stored in Australia (Sydney), with our database and file storage provider, Supabase.

(b) How we read your documents

To pull out key facts, we send the document to an AI service provided by Anthropic, PBC, in the United States. By default, Anthropic does not use this content to train its models, and it keeps it only for a limited period under its commercial terms.

If you mark a document as a loan document when you add it, we do not send it to the AI service at all. For other documents, we first send only the first page to check what kind of document it is. If it is a loan document, we stop there and keep it without reading it further.

Account and policy numbers are stored only as their last four digits. Facts we read are shown to you to check, and you can correct or delete them.

(c) Forwarding documents by email

You can forward documents to your Home Vault from the email address on your Marketli account. We receive these emails through our email provider, Resend, a United States company whose servers for our forwarding address are in Japan, and Resend keeps a copy of the emails it receives for us on its systems. We use the email server's security checks to confirm a forwarded email really came from your address. Emails that cannot be confirmed wait for you to accept them before we read or file them, and emails from addresses not linked to an account are discarded.

(d) Bank and loan data

Documents you upload or forward are information you give us directly. They are not data obtained from your bank under the Consumer Data Right.

(e) Deleting your documents

You can delete any document at any time. If you delete your Marketli account, we delete your Home Vault documents and the facts read from them. Copies of forwarded emails held by Resend are kept under Resend's own retention practices.
